It's not everyday that something you see or hear has the power to literally move you. I mean something that sparks that high you get right after that first cup of coffee in the morning, or that feeling you get when you get when you see your child's face for the first time. The feeling I experienced after reading Mr. Wilson's poetry can best be described as enlightened or simply moving. The way he way he places biblical meaning to the current events has me astounded. I am a child of God, I was raised in church. As I got older I stopped going to church. Either my job or life at the time but I have not stopped being a daughter of our king. Recently I had the pleasure of viewing Mr. James Wilson's website. His style and delivery of the word was truly felt throughout my entire body. I'm sharing his site to this blog because I believe everyone would benefit from the videos or reading his poetry. I was literally transported into every poem as if I were standing beside him as he wrote. Nothing in my life has touched me this deeply in a very long time. His poetry is the one thing that I use to read most of the time and I am sure that it has been worth of reading it. I really like to know more about the ideas that can gives you the improvements.

Thank you, his poetry is very moving. Ivery always loved being I'm church. I don't go often but I pray everyday. I've heard a lot of others try to develop their crafts into something half as moving as what Mr. Wilson has accomplished.

I went to James Wilson's website right after reading your post. I agree that it his works - spoke and written - speaks to the audience at large. A lot of people have stopped believing in religion and a power greater than all us as these concepts have become irrelevant in this time of the Internet and strides in science. But Mr Wilson expertly weaving faith and God into what is happening right now to us as individuals and humanity as a whole is truly inspiring. People want answers to what they are feeling and what they are experiencing. Relating these to God and our faith should not be a new perspective. It has been there all along; we just unconsciously and consciously rejected it because of the mistaken assumption that God, religion and faith is no longer cool in a modern world.

I have had some interesting debates on James Wilson & Religion. I think one problem is the key FFs, of which Wilson was one, could be notoriously vague and philosophical in their public addresses that invoked religion. They speak of Providence, God, and Christianity in abstract terms that permitted the "orthodox" to read what they wished (as "Christian Nationalists" continue to do to this day). And consequently the "orthodox" consented to the FFs republican project. Indeed the internal theory of liberal democracy/constitutional republicanism demands such consent or else we have a "Crisis of the House Divided" as Harry Jaffa once put it.

I am a fan of different artists including James Wilson. He is one of my favorite artists because I find him so kind and very approachable to everyone that comes in his way. He used to be my idol and an inspiration in achieving one of my dreams. Though for others it is not the usual thing to do, but for me it is my will to idolize someone and used as an instrument to move forward and to pursue my desired goals. Hope to see my favorite artist soon.

Give me a good mystery, thriller, romance, ANYTHING, and I’ll read it in 24 hours. Give me practically anything that is assigned in school, and I can’t get through it. I even tried to go back a couple of years ago (I’m 34 now) and read some of the books that I didn’t read in high school. My reading habit slowed waaaayyyy down because I just didn’t want to read anymore. I got through a couple books, but halfway through Little Women, I said screw it.
