Mind Slap

It's not everyday that something you see or hear has the power to literally move you. I mean something that sparks that high you get right after that first cup of coffee in the morning, or that feeling you get when you get when you see your child's face for the first time.  The feeling I experienced after reading Mr. Wilson's poetry can best be described as enlightened or simply moving. The way he way he places biblical meaning to the current events has me astounded. 

       I am a child of God, I was raised in church. As I got older I stopped going to church. Either my job or life at the time but I have not stopped being a daughter of our king. Recently I had the pleasure of viewing Mr. James Wilson's website. His style and delivery of the word was truly felt throughout my entire body. I'm sharing his site to this blog because I believe everyone would benefit from the videos or reading his poetry. I was literally transported into every poem as if I were standing beside him as he wrote. Nothing in my life has touched me this deeply in a very long time.
